The Teenage Marketer – James Penn – has inspired me to put my pic here for you to see.
Now I will explain when I originally put up this site I did put my picture here. I then took it off very quickly ’cause I didn’t want to scare you!
But here it is – this is me…

Stef,
The pic is great. You also have a very colorful and creative header image. Is that your work? I noticed how the pink in the header matches well with you highlights. Very, very nice. I wasn’t frightened at all.
I stumbled upon your site via your entry on James Penn’s site. I bookmarked your site to stop by now and then to see how it’s coming along.
I have a modest tip for you. When I bookmarked your site the browser grabbed your title and I had “Subscription Confirmation” in the dialog as the site name – not good.
Check out this well accepted WS plugin to optimize your page title with your keywords:

As for my sites and pics, I have one pic of me on one site and it’s from a trip to Disneyland in ’59. Time travel is always an acceptable option on the Internet, Stef. So be creative with the pics and have fun. Halloween is around the corner. If Martha can do it on the cover of her magazine… why not Stef?
Best Wishes,

Sorry for my error, Stef. That’s “WP” plugin, not “WS”. Speaking of time travel, my fingers must have time tripped to 1985, thinking they were working with the “Word Star” (WS) word processor.
And speaking of errors…
I tried to signup for your diary and received the following from aweber:
“An Error Occurred
Notice:
Sorry, the account you tried to access was not found in our customer records. To notify the website owner of this message, push the “back” button on your web browser or check some of the selections below for more information.”
And for your reference, here is the URL:

Good Luck and Best Wishes,

Hi xearther
thanks so much for dropping by.
The main pic for the header is from a free wordpress theme, the writing for NewbiesDiary.com I did myself – I like to play with graphics, but unfortunately I spend waaaayyyy too much time doing this stuff!
Thanks for the tip on the “Subscription Confirmation” I knew about this, but I spent a day trying to fix it & gave up in disgust! So thanks heaps for the plugin – I got it fixed in 10 minutes once I knew where to go – you are a champion!!
I’ve also fixed up the Newbies Daily Diary – so if you’d like to give that another go it’d be great.
Are you able to share your websites with us?

Stef,
I just signed-up for your newsletter. So you’re thinking about starting a forum for newbies? There is only one reminder I have for you regarding that ambitious endeavor. Understand it will take a tremendous amount of time. If it’s something you love I’m certain you will go far with it. But because of the dedication required, it really should be something you truly love doing – otherwise you are going to burn out after a few months.
I recommend you investigate Dennis Becker’s Earn1KaDay forum. I’ve been a member since the beginning. Imagine your forum turning out to be a raging success. Then imagine what the forum would be like a couple years after that, so rich in content and support – almost to the point of being overwhelming for a newcomer. Now multiply that vision times 10 and you’ve got an idea of what Earn1KaDay has become.
Here’s a link for you: http://xearther.earn1kaday.hop.clickbank.net
The sales page does not do the site justice at all. You might think you could just try it for 30 days and get everything out of it and then cancel. It won’t work. There is just too much there.
If you sign up using my hoplink let me know. I’ll be sure to show my gratitude in some generous, creative “bonus” way that is topical and relevant to what is going on now and not yesterday’s news..
Regarding my sites, I have more than a handful. I don’t think it would be very productive to just “throw them out” to you. The way I would like to approach it is when through a discussion of a particular IM-related topic an example is called for, I’ll direct you to one of my webpages if it is appropriate and useful.
My, it’s after 11pm, Pacific Time. I’ll close for now.
I look forward to you emails, Stef! I’m certain there will be much food for thought. I’ll keep in touch.
Best Wishes,
xearther
