So here’s a copy of one of my posts…
OMG OMG OMG!!!!
I sent 20 letters last week & got off my backside today to visit some local business.
I went to 6 businesses – one I went into said “I have a great looking website, but it doesnt work!” I asked what he wanted it to do & then showed him what was stopping it from working. He also told me the guy who designed it took a year to do – WOW!
Its a great looking site – but it’s ALL flash & the links are hidden and and and and.
I told him I’d add an optin box & maintain his email list – regular newsletter & a monthly broadcast – he didnt commit to it, but got my details. When I got home there was an email from him saying yes & could he please have my bank account details. His dad also has a business in the same shop & he’s looking to get a complete website design as he has nothing at the moment – so that’ll be coming up soon.
So now I have a problem – the whole bloody site is flash and I need to get an opt-in box in there – I thought in the header (hoping that will take care of all pages at once) – can someone here help me with that – how much & how long??? hahaha what a problem hey – money being thrown at me & I’ve got no clue! LMAO

Hi Mate,
Dont do the work yourself!
Get the login details from the business owner or the website designer and post a job on rentacoder.com for someone to insert the opt-in box for you.
Seriously…dont do it yourself otherwise you’ll be constantly fixing mistakes and could stuff the whole website. Trust me…I know

hahaha – I’m soooo clever I’ve done the AR code already. My client is of the firm opionion that I’m the best thing since sliced bread.
I’m happy about that cause there’s a lot more I can do to help him & his parents who have a domain name each & no website yet – yah!!

Way to go… I have a colleague who’s attitude to customers is always say yes
Then find a way to do it….he employs about 8 people now and still says yes and gets it done.
