Day 2: Choose a program to follow
Ok – the blog is up – so cross that off the list.
Day One complete – do a little jig & make a fresh cup of White Choc Mocca Latte!
I’ll funk the blog up a little as I go – so stick with me here. I put up a picture of myself yesterday while I was playing with the layout – but I thought it might scare you a little so I took it off, possibly I’ll put it back again later when I get brave!
So let’s keep moving here! I’m so keen I’m doing day 2 now…
Day Two: Choose a program to follow.
I’m tossing up between 2 programs – one I have and one I will have to buy.
My choices are Nitro Blueprint System by Kevin Wilke & Matt Gill or BeBiz by Derek Gehl.
I must admit these are my 2 (or 3?) favourite internet “gurus”, mostly because the information they give your for free is simply amazing – which leads me to believe the information you pay for would be the most staggeringly earth shattering! I do have another fav guru – we’ll get to him later I think.
I have the complete Nitro Blueprint System sitting on my desk where it has been for about 6 months. It looks brilliant – yes I’ve flicked thru it a couple of times! – the problem I have with it is that even though it is designed for all levels of expertise, it also assumes you will work through it & keep going – by yourself – you need to be self motivated, something I mostly don’t have any trouble with – but what I do struggle with is I get lost on a tangent – wander off somewhere that I didn’t mean to go & then I forget what I was doing (you’ll notice this from time to time as you read my blog). Now I’m thinking my A.D.D. brain will go on little walkabouts, it is a huge book, lots of videos, tapes etc & I have the sense of being overwhelmed before I start – on saying this I would like to stress that this is ME – not necessarily anyone else, but as I am the one having to do this I’m thinking that this will be project number TWO.
The upside to using the Nitro Blueprint System is that I already have it – I don’t need to buy it or pay for anything else to get started. The downside – I really want to start on something that looks easy to start – both for me and of course for you. There – I just had my first “in-my-head-debate” right in front of you.
So it looks like I just decided to start with the BeBiz – did you like that?
Now – the plan for today is…
1. I need to set up Camtasia Studio so you can watch what I do.
2. I need to buy BeBiz software. It’s 12.30 pm here already – so once I figure all that out it will probably be time for the kids to be picked up, so let’s not overload the day (especially for a Friday) and I’ll get through the first 2 tasks & see if I can do more.
